About Us

For thirteen years, HOMES Publishing Group has been supporting Raising The Roof (RtR) as its charity of choice. RtR is the only national charity whose mission is ending homelessness. RtR, first known for its annual fundraising sale of Toques every February, has given $ millions in support to local service groups in various Canadian cities, established Shared Learnings to assist all groups involved helping the homeless, and is uniquely able to publicize and generate awareness about this serious issue.

HOMES Publishing feels that people who make a living from building and selling homes, and even its readers who are able to buy homes, would understand and appreciate our support of those without a home. HOMES President Michael Rosset has been on the RtR Board of Directors for eleven years. HOMES has supported RtR with hundreds of thousands in donations of cash and printing, over $1 million in free advertising and publicity.

The HOMES Charity Golf Tournament, after 8 years, has raised a total of $158,480 for RtR. We appreciate the support of all who have participated.
